The organization is a non-profit government municipal agency, serving the city of Tiffin. The organization oversee 13 different parks in Tiffin and is responsible for its maintenance, as well as providing recreation activities for the community. The programs that the organization provides are cultural, educational, and recreational, giving young children and even adults a place to gather and have fun.

To provide the people of Tiffin with full and equitable access to local parks, and trails, recreational programs and leisure opportunities that enhances the quality of life in our community.

Quality and Service: We emphasize quality over quantity in our delivery of services and in long-term investments of equipment and facilities.
Inclusion: We believe that public recreation programs and parks should be open and welcoming to all people regardless of race, religion, age, gender, socioeconomic status, or ability.
Community Development: We aid in community development through support of high profile events in our parks and by advocating for continued improvements in parklands and facilities realizing that public perceptions of our community are strongly influenced by these efforts.
Preservation: We make a concerted effort to maintain a balance of natural and developed areas within the city park system.
